Agata Marchlewicz is a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the University of the Arts in Poznań (UAP), an artist, and a special education teacher. For several years, she has been developing the cut-out art project Cięta Córa. Her works are singular objects that unfold intimate, personal narratives, rooted in meticulous craftsmanship and a deep sensitivity to material.
Marchlewicz draws inspiration from the traditions of craft and design, with a particular affection for naïve art and the legacy of folk artists. Her practice bridges contemporary artistic language with vernacular forms, creating works that are both visually distinctive and emotionally resonant.
Since 2022, she has been a member of the Association of Contemporary Craftsmen Nów. Nowe Rzemiosło.
