CURATED CONNECTIONS: BLUEPRINT
Chapter 6 | Mint Gallery, London | September 2026
Presented during London Design Festival 2026 as part of Mayfair Design District, BLUEPRINT, the sixth chapter of the ongoing Curated Connections series, brought together three distinctive voices in contemporary Polish design: Tomek Rygalik, Mati Sipiora and Formsophy. Curated by On&On Designs, the exhibition explored the relationship between traditional craftsmanship, material knowledge and contemporary experimentation, revealing how established techniques and unconventional approaches can shape new design languages. Hosted at Mint Gallery in the heart of Mayfair, BLUEPRINT celebrated the creative processes behind the objects, highlighting the dialogue between designer, material and maker.
The designers and their work:
Tomek Rygalik | Miss Irony (2026)
An internationally recognised Polish designer and founder of Studio Rygalik, Tomek Rygalik presented Miss Irony, a sculptural table combining industrial iron with the organic form of a burned tree trunk. The work challenges conventional ideas of comfort, refinement and luxury, bringing together the raw force of nature and the precision of industrial production. Its contrasting materials create a dialogue between destruction and transformation, the primal and the contemporary.
Mati Sipiora | Poodle Armchair (2023)
Designer Mati Sipiora presented the Poodle Armchair, an expressive furniture piece developed through hands-on experimentation and traditional metalworking techniques. Produced in his family's metalworking workshop, the chair reflects a personal approach to design in which craftsmanship, technical knowledge and a playful sculptural language come together. The work was also featured in Mint Gallery's window installation, creating a visual connection between the exhibition and the streets of Mayfair.
Formsophy | NAR and HANN
Formsophy, the design practice founded by Alicja Prussakowska and Jakub Kijowski, presented works from its evolving collection, including NAR and the debut of HANN. Working with materials such as cast aluminium and natural stone, Formsophy explores the relationship between sculptural expression, materiality and functional design. Their objects combine strong architectural forms with careful attention to surfaces, proportions and the inherent character of materials.
AN EVENING WITH TOMEK RYGALIK
On 17 September 2026, BLUEPRINT hosted a special evening at Mint Gallery, featuring a conversation with Tomek Rygalik followed by the exhibition's private view. The event brought together designers, creative professionals and members of London's international design community, offering an opportunity to explore the ideas, processes and craftsmanship behind the exhibited works.
