CURATED CONNECTIONS: REFLECTIONS

Chapter 5 | Contemporary Polish Design at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair London | 9 September 2026 – 31 January 2027

As part of London Design Festival 2026, On&On Designs presented Reflections, the fifth chapter of Curated Connections, an ongoing initiative celebrating contemporary Polish design and creating meaningful connections between designers, materials, spaces and international audiences. Hosted at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, in the heart of London's Mayfair Design District, the exhibition brings together three distinctive creative voices: Zieta Studio, Magdalena Zarychta and Aneta Kocia. Exploring the interplay between reflection, light, materiality and craftsmanship, the exhibition invites visitors to discover different approaches to contemporary Polish design, where experimentation meets artistic expression and innovation.

THE DESIGNERS

Zieta Studio - Internationally recognised for its innovative approach to metal, Zieta Studio explores the relationship between technology, material and form. The exhibition features Crystal Totem and Crystal Monoliths, sculptural works that engage with their surroundings through reflective surfaces and changing light.

MAGDALENA ZARYCHTA

Presenting Pulsar, Magdalena Zarychta contributes a distinctive artistic perspective to the exhibition, exploring the relationship between form, material and visual expression.

ANETA KOCIA

Aneta Kocia contributes Wave Vase No. M/4 and Wave Vase No. CD/1, extending the exhibition's exploration of form, materiality and contemporary craftsmanship. Together, these works offer an insight into contemporary Polish design, where traditional approaches to making meet experimentation and artistic innovation.

A SPECIAL GUIDED TOUR As part of the London Design Festival programme, On&On Designs hosted a special guided exhibition tour with Agata Świderska-Zięta on 16 September 2026. The tour offered visitors an opportunity to discover the ideas and creative processes behind the exhibited works, encouraging conversation around materials, innovation and the evolving role of contemporary design.

Curated Connections is an ongoing series of exhibitions, events and creative activations connecting the Polish and British design communities. Developed by On&On Designs and Creative Project Foundation, the initiative creates opportunities for Polish designers to present their work to international audiences, fostering dialogue, collaboration and cultural exchange. Presented as part of Mayfair Design District during London Design Festival 2026, Reflections continues this mission by bringing Polish design into one of London's prominent cultural and hospitality destinations.
